Men steal toilet from courthouse bathroom

Two of the three thieves were nabbed rightoutside the building, but the third eluded capture.
Now, something different. This article of a woman -
Suzanne Marie Butts - who faced charges for theft
of T.P. from a central Iowa courthouse. The offense,
apparently, could have Butts facing more than a year
in prison over a roll of toilet paper due to
the state's habitual offender law.

I can imagine that two guys carrying a toilet out the front door was ample evidence to warrant an arrest, however, I do hope their Miranda Rights were read to them as well as a warrant for search and seizure. I bet it scared the crap out them when confronted by the police with drawn pistols and riot gear. As for Mrs. Butts, I bet she has been the butt of a lot of jokes since 2007. this actually happened tome in my video store in Anchor Point. I thought we were going through a lot of TP but it was not until we caught the lady that was snagging it. It was really difficult catching her, but when a roll of TP fell on the floor from under her coat is was pretty evident that she as a TP thief, was also able to confiscate three additional rolls from her.
