Our wolves have been hungry - with a shortage of food in their habitat - and have had to resort to hunting penguins at Yukon Bay. Although you would, typically, not see a wolf in the water, they happen to be very accomplished swimmers. I only hope Cougars from the southeast haven't migrated this far, yet, and the wolves have a chance at survival.

Donations will be accepted for the "Keep Cougars in Canada (KCC)" efforts.

Those are not penguins, the picture is peneginn's, a smaller specie of the penguin normally found in the coastal waters of Chile, ocassionbaly as far north as Panama, however, because of the pollution from the Panama Canal, most of them have died or moved south to the predominant breeding grounds in Chile.

In Yukon Bay, there has been many of this species living on an old ship wreckage. If adequate research was done, the multiplying numbers are staggering! And, these are penguins.
