Apple Reports Sluggish Sales of iPod XXL
Atlanta, GA - After much anticipation, Apple has came out with the newest iPod. Released on February 6th as a side promotion to the new “iPod Shuffle”, this iPod was surely anticipated to take the portable music player industry by storm.
The iPod XXL features 2,000 Terabytes of storage and is capable of holding 6 Billion music files and over 45 years of continuous playback. According to Apple representative Steve Smith, “You can start playing your iPod XXL when you are born, and will not hear the same song twice until you are just about ready to retire.”
Weighing in at roughly 175 pounds, the iPod XXL packs a powerful punch. Although it measures 4 feet tall by almost 3 feet wide, Apple continues to stress the point that this iPod is still portable. “It can be easily hauled in pickups, U-Hauls, trailers, and is conveniently stored in many backseats of full sized cars.
Although the XXL stands out among the crowd, sales for the new music player have remained quite sluggish. Apple declined to comment on the issue.
