How was your Christmas dinner?

It was hard to say what the favorite main dish was yesterday, but they all went down smooth with Homer Brewing Company's Scottish Ale for a finish. We were all pretty stuffed on beef, turkey, and ham.

Even now - still digesting the great feast - my mouth waters for the enticing aromas the pictures spell out.

The most popular gift just might have been the double-barrel, suction cup dart, shotgun. Provided good entertainment from youngest to oldest.

Overall, it was a festive, fun-filled, laugh-out-loud time with family that will be remembered and cherished for years to come. The only missing parts were the loved ones we did not see this last week. Our hearts always have a place for you, too - and the guns are always loaded.

Seldom is the case, but you are so right this time, it was a super good diner, the Prime Rib was perfect, Turkey is always good and the spirial ham was to die for, the chocolate fondue fountain was a favorite spot to hang out at, all the fruit was great but the cherries drapped in warm milk chocolate was so good - but best of all was the hospitality of everyone and the gathering of the families, it was a veruy special time for Terry and I - but greed also plays a part of it - we wish that Shane, Dana and the girls could have also been with us.

If you feel the incessant urge,
and your tongue is sharp and quick,
leave a worthless thought for me
whether cool, or fun, or sick.
